Teaching objectives
Plant production is the result of a combination of climate, soil, and fertility. Soil plays a role
through its physical properties and its nutrient and water-holding capacity. Therefore,
knowledge of soil and foliar fertilization is essential for students
of agronomy.

Basic knowledge of soil chemistry and agro-pedology, particularly
plant biology.
