- In the office: Tuesday and Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Teaching objectives

By the end of the course, the student will be able to:
- Identify heat transfer, mass transfer, and momentum phenomena ;
- Describe transport phenomena at the macroscopic and the molecular level ;
- Recognize the similarities between the three transport phenomena ;
- Analyze problems involving transfer phenomena ;
- Give the basic laws describing heat, mass, and momentum transfer processes.
Pre-requisites

To be able to make the most of this course, it is necessary to know of:
- Basic concepts of thermodynamics;
- Basic concepts of chemical kinetics;
- First and second-order differential equations.
Test of pre-requisites
In case of failure, a redirection towards the assistance resources to obtain the passing grade of the prerequisite test.
Global plan
The course is divided into four learning chapters. Each learning chapter is covered by a planned learning sequence that allows for the absorption of concepts. This assimilation is reinforced by learning activities that implement these concepts. This is one of the strengths of this course.
You can also obtain a detailed course plan by accessing the online course and clicking "Detailed Plan."
