     L'évaluation finale se fait à travers:  Un examen final  (60%)  et  Évaluation continue (40%).


  • Objectifs généraux

    Le cours vise à :

    •  Connaître les fonctions à une seule variable.
    •  Etudier les limites, la continuité, la dérivabilité  de ces fonctions.
    • Déterminer des intégrales et primitives.
    • Déterminer les dérivées partielles, les intégrales doubles  et les intégrales triples des fonctions a deux variables.
    • Définir les séries à termes réels et les séries à termes positifs.
    • Intégrer l'outil statistique dans le domaine biologique.

    •   Les notions de base relatives aux fonctions.
    •   Les primitives.
    •   Les suites.
    •   Les variables statistiques.

    Chapitre 1: "Fonctions réelles d'une variable réelle".

    Chapitre 2: "Fonctions réelles de plusieurs variables".

  • Chapter 01: Real functions of a real variable

    Specific objectives

    At the end of this chapter the student will be able to:

    • Define  the real functions of a real variable .
    • Identify the domain of definition.
    • Compute the limits of functions.
    • Study the continuity of functions.
    • Identify  the differentiable  functions.
    • Calculate the  integrals of functions 
  • Chapter 02: Real functions of several real variables

    Specific objectives

    At the end of this chapter the student will be able to:

    • Define the function of two variables.
    • Identify the domain of definition.
    • Compute the partial derivatives of order 1.
    • Calculate the partial derivatives of order 2.
    • Differentiate between double and triple integral.

  • Chapter 03: Numerical series


    Specific objectives

    At the end of this chapter the student will be able to:

    • Identify series with real terms.
    • Understand algebraic operations on numerical series.
    • Differentiate between comparison theorems
    • Apply the three rules of convergence: Riemann, d'Alembert and Cauchy.

  • Chapter 04: Descriptive Statistics


    Specific objectives

    At the end of this chapter the student will be able to:

    • Know the basic notions of descriptive statistics: population, individual, modality, variable.
    • Distinguish between the quantitative variable and the qualitative variable.
    • Translate observed data into tables and graphs.
    • Calculate position, dispersion and mode parameters.
    • Test the results obtained.
